The Mt. Olive Community Outreach Center is a cornerstone of support for the Slidell community, providing essential services to individuals and families facing food insecurity and economic hardship. Through our feeding ministry, we serve hot, nutritious meals four days a week, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry. This includes meals for walk-ins as well as deliveries to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities. Our impact extends beyond food assistance, as we also provide nonresidential individual and family social services, helping to stabilize lives through emergency aid, referrals, and community engagement initiatives. MOCOC's work is deeply rooted in the belief that no one should have to choose between basic necessities, and we strive to be a source of hope and support for those in need. Over the years, our programs have positively impacted hundreds of families, reducing hunger and providing stability during times of crisis. With continued support, we aim to expand our services to meet the growing needs of the community, ensuring that we remain a beacon of compassion and assistance.
