Mondo Bizarro Productions

Mondo Bizarro is a New Orleans-based company that works for a more beautiful and equitable world through the creation and presentation of live performances, digital media, training programs and cultural organizing events.

We have been creating interdisciplinary art and fostering creative partnerships in local, national and international communities for twenty-one years. As artists of place, our journeys begin and end in New Orleans: we tour to embolden our efforts here. Our creations embody the urgency of our desire to listen to our land and culture, develop allies in collective action, and provide a platform for using art as a tool to understand what makes us commonly human and individually unique. We accomplish this through a process we call Values-Based Producing. Our core values are: Uprooting Oppression, Shared Power, Radical Imagination & Joy. When making produceorial choices, we work to ensure that our values are rooted in every decision we make.

We braid four distinct program areas to accomplish our collective mission: MB Productions, MB Training, MB Presents and Catapult.
