Ladies Leukemia League, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Ladies Leukemia League, Inc., a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, raises funds to award grants to researchers to study the causes, treatments, and eventually a cure for leukemia and related diseases in the Gulf South Region, designated as Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Testimonials

The Fete de Noel Luncheon and Fashion Show, sponsored by Dillards, is the largest and most fabulous event opening the holiday season in New Orleans. If you have not attended in the past, make a point to attend.

Mission

Ladies Leukemia League, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization (we do not pay any salaries and keep overhead costs to a minimum) dedicated to raising funds to help find a cure for leukemia/lymphoma. Founded in 1970, Ladies Leukemia League annually awards all funds raised to leukemia/lymphoma research scientists via a grant program to which they apply. Over the past 57 years, we have raised over $5 million in the hope of finding a cure for leukemia/lymphoma. Our only fundraiser is our Annual Fete de Noel Luncheon held in December in New Orleans, LA. This event is the premiere opening to the holiday season and is enjoyed by over 1,100 attendees. The event features a New York-style runway Fashion Show by Dillard’s and features three or four area children who are facing the challenges of dealing with leukemia.
