HeartGift

HeartGift provides life-saving congenital heart defect surgery to children from around the world where specialized medical treatment is either scarce or nonexistent.

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is the most common birth defect, affecting 40,000 newborns each year in the U.S.-where they receive timely, life-saving care. But in 90% of the world, that care simply doesn't exist.

For 25 years, HeartGift has been changing that-one child at a time.

In 2025, we'll provide free heart surgery to over 600 children from around the world. Many of those children will receive care right here in Louisiana through our partnership with Manning Family Children's. Local families will open their homes, local doctors will donate their expertise, and generous supporters will see their gifts come to life.

Because of HeartGift, children return home healthy-with full hearts and bright futures. With HeartGift, local people can make a global impact.
