Hams For Fams is a DBA of the Famcore Foundation, a 501(c)(3) created to manage the future of this project and other projects around the country. Currently, there are 3 Famcore projects operating in both Louisiana and Texas. Hams For Fams is proud to say it is the first and largest of these projects. The Executive Board of Hams For Fams, which is made up of a rotating board of local high school students, work tirelessly year-round gathering funds and planning towards feeding Christmas dinners to large number of families. Every Christmas the entire Hams For Fams staff comes together to organize and deliver baskets of food to households that would not otherwise receive a proper Christmas meal, or any meal, during the holiday season. With the help of our partners, generous benefactors, and charitable volunteers, we spread joy annually in the form of a food basket.
