Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses
About this Organization
Preserve History with Us! Help us safeguard two of New Orleans' most treasured and hidden gems-Hermann-Grima House (1831) and Gallier House (1860). Areas of focus include daily life in the 19th century for the houses' owners and enslaved individuals, women's history, architecture, decorative arts, open-hearth cooking, and mourning rituals. When you join HGGHH as a member, you help sustain these National Historic Landmarks while enjoying exclusive access to the houses, programs, exhibitions, discounts, and more.
Dual-level members and above also receive NARM benefits, unlocking free admission to 1,000+ museums across North America! All levels are able to participate in New Orleans Museum Month too.
We're proud to share that in March 2024, HGGHH was re-accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, a distinction held by only 1,113 of the nation's 33,000 museums. This gold standard of excellence affirms our commitment to preservation, education, and public service.
Be part of history and become a member. Your membership has a tremendous impact on our institution and the surrounding community!
