Guns Down Gloves Up was established in response to increase in gun violence and crimes by youth in our communities. We created a safe place for youth to expel negative energy, learn emotional intelligence, be able to speak without judgement and to also gain advice from those who have experienced same life jarring situations. Boxing is providing an outlet both physically and mentally: the sport teaches paitence and requires you to think of consequencses to each action. Our gym is USA sancationed gym which allows our registered fighters to compete all the way to the olympic level.
We also do community events outside of our daily gym regime. We give an annual Christmas Toy giveaway partnered with Tots for Toys which we give hot plates of food away as well.

Youth and young adult crime prevention. We offer boxing training, mentorship, tutoring, job prep, college/trade school assistance at no charge.
