$5,000 Goal

The Community Commitment Education Center was founded on the premise of one neighbor helping another. Our primary goal is to connect the people of New Orleans with the available resources.

The Community Commitment Education Center has been working within the New Orleans area since 2009. In response to the Coronavirus CCEC has implemented a meal program to feed community members within the New Orleans area. Our Traditional programs have been developed to educate and inspire our youth and seniors alike. Currently CCEC partners with Catholic Charities and the Second Harvest Food Bank to provide commodities to our seniors and home bound community members weekly. For our senior members we also hold weekly art classes, individual computer skills training sessions, and adult fitness classes. CCEC is a also the voting location for precincts 5, 6, and 7 for the ward 17th. Each summer CCEC holds an onsite youth summer camp. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and educational space for the youth of New Orleans.

Our adult community members are welcome to utilize our free Wifi and computers as well as our library. Our goal is to keep all of our community members engaged and informed. Please give your support, thank you!
