Asian Pacific American Society, Inc.

The purpose of the Asian Pacific American Society is to provide an organization for Americans of Asian heritage originating in mainland nations of Asia and island nations proximate to the mainland known as the Pacific Rim living in the State of Louisiana and the Gulf states area for their mutual support and cultural exchange among the communities and of the communities with the established American society with whom they live.

APAS presents an annual Asian Heritage Festival, for the last year with the French Market and previously at the Audubon Zoo, in the Spring and a fundraising Gala in the Fall, which supports our annual Children's Party and scholarship awards, as well as other philanthropic efforts, and providing aid to homeless people and victims of our unpredictable weather.
