Our network
We work under the guidance of grassroots climate and faith leaders in Southern Louisiana, and understand our work as part of the long lineage of the southern environmental justice movement. Our relationships predate Ida, and our local climate and environmental justice community has grown stronger through connecting and caring for one another.

In 2024 we:
- Invested $108k towards rebuilding 8 Black owned homes (roofs and interior rebuilds) in 4 parishes
- Distributed 3000 Disaster Preparedness Kits sent out to 29 partners over 10 parishes
- Distributed $400k in-kind donations in food, household essentials, and disaster supplies distributed to 29 orgs in 10 parishes

In 2025:
- We have rebuilt 6 homes and are working to raise money for 4 more roofs!
- We are preparing for our Annual Luv n Prep, which will bring together EJ leaders and community members for disaster prep

We operate with 0 full time staff, but have dozens of people and multiple organizations - who make this work possible!
