I have committed a significant portion of my life to supporting those in need. Every day, more than 3,000 animals are put down in the United States, and there are over 70 million homeless animals across the country. Thankfully, thanks to the efforts of small rescues, this alarming number is gradually declining. The key solution lies in spaying and neutering. Big Easy Animal Rescue (B.E.A.R.) is a local, woman-led non-profit powered by an all-volunteer crew. We rescue, foster, and care for neglected and abused animals in the Greater New Orleans area. This year's funds will support a mobile unit to spay, neuter, and deliver critical medical services within low-income neighborhoods. Animals are forever friends who give us unconditional love.
