Fundraiser Story
The First 72+ has been so meaningful to my life. Coming home after a long period of time of being confined in prison, it was The First 72+ that embraced me, gave me direction and really helped me to mature into the person that I am today. The key has been staying focused and working the program that 72+ has in place. I have grown so fond of this program and each day that I enter this work force, I wholeheartedly put forth the effort to give back to what was given to me.

About the Organization
Our mission is to stop the cycle of incarceration by fostering independence and self-sustainability for formerly incarcerated people. Through the leadership and wisdom of formerly incarcerated people themselves, the First 72+ transforms the re-entry experience into one that builds on the strengths and abilities of people returning home from prison and ensures that they, their families, and their communities are given the greatest opportunity to grow and thrive.
