I've been a clinician at the Children's Bureau since July 2024. Coming out of graduate school, I knew I was passionate about working with marginalized communities in New Orleans. Since being with CBNO, that passion has only grown. Children and families in service with our organization are often survivors of physical and sexual abuse, the loss of a loved one as a result of homicide, or witnesses to violence in their communities. As a New Orleans native, I'm reminded daily at CBNO of why I love my city. Children's Bureau, as an organization, holds so much respect for the resilience of New Orleans residents in the face of adversity. All of our trauma and grief counseling services are free of charge to children and families; however, with federal funding being eliminated, there's a real risk that children will lose access to our vital services.  On GiveNOLA Day or earlier, I'm asking you to join me in supporting the place where I pour my heart, passion, and energy every day.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families in greater New Orleans through valid and proven programs that enhance and strengthen mental health and wellness.
