As Programs Manager at The First 72+, I work directly with our clients to connect them to public benefits, stable employment, and the support systems they need to rebuild their lives with dignity. Many of the clients I work with come out of prison with no vital documents, no place to stay, and no financial security. As none of this support is offered preemptively while they are in prison, reentry nonprofits, like The First 72+, are left to fill in the gaps when they return home. From food security to finding a job that pays a livable wage, these are basic needs that no one should face alone. But we can't do this work without your help.
