As we build towards our 50th anniversary as one of the Gulf South’s longest operating and largest performing arts companies, we are expanding our onstage and educational offerings and touring our shows again. Our new logo and new vision represent the power of the performing arts and the strength and stability of our organization as we envision an even better next 50 years.

Founded in 1978 by Maestro Dennis G. Assaf, the Jefferson Performing Arts Society is a non-profit professional arts organization whose mission is to promote arts performance, training, and outreach by providing a diverse range of quality programs that entertain, educate and enrich the cultural and economic vitality of Jefferson Parish, Greater New Orleans and the Gulf South.
