Fundraiser Story
Since it was formed, JPAS has been a producer of ballet.
JPAS began its musical productions with West Side Story, a work that features the beautiful Jerome Robbins dream ballet. It was one of the first organizations to present the Nutcracker ballet in Jefferson Parish. When the new theatre opened, JPAS made sure that ballet was represented, and brought me and a partner from Cuba in to dance the Swan Lake Act 2 pas de deux with its wonderful orchestra. Since then, it has presented full length ballets of both the classical and contemporary genre - "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Coppelia", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Ballet Goes to Broadway".
Please join me in supporting a great organization that supports ballet too!
