I work at Children’s Bureau of New Orleans (CBNO) because I believe deeply in helping the children who need it most. Over the past year, I've been providing specialized mental health care to children/families in schools & responding to crises in New Orleans. CBNO can't do this work without support from the community. On GiveNOLA Day (May 6) or earlier (window is now open!), I’m asking you to join me in supporting the place where I pour my heart every day. I see the impact of this work firsthand, and I can tell you: it truly changes lives. The children & families I serve have gone through things that many will not experience in their lifetime; Physical abuse, sexual violence, lost loved ones to homicide, to name a few. All of our services are FREE to help alleviate barriers to treatment. Without continued support, there’s a real risk that children will lose access to our vital services. Every dollar helps us reach more children, offer more services, and keep services accessible to all.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families in greater New Orleans through valid and proven programs that enhance and strengthen mental health and wellness.
