This is the little sustainability non-profit that could! If a non-profit could run on sheer determination then we would not be raising funds for Green Light New Orleans. Alas, funds are needed to support a small but mighty team in realizing a critical mission: empowering New Orleans residents to live more sustainably in a community that is precious and precarious: vulnerable to storms, flooding, sinking land and rising seawater. Green Light New Orleans has a waiting list of 500 barrels for installation, is partnering with local schools on educational programming, and has endless ideas for other ways to engage and empower New Orleans residents to live more sustainably.
