Boys Town Louisiana

Fundraiser Story

I support Boys Town Louisiana because I know how much it matters to have someone in your corner. Most of us, at some point, have felt what it’s like to try and hold everything together on our own. It’s hard. And it can be lonely. That’s why Boys Town Louisiana means so much to our community. They’re there for children and families when it feels like no one else is. They show up with compassion, with real support, and with a belief that everyone deserves a chance to thrive. We all do better when we have a community behind us. If you believe in that too, I hope you’ll consider joining me in supporting their work. Every gift makes a difference.

About the Organization

Boys Town Louisiana's mission is to change the way America cares for children and families. Through research-based care, we provide safe homes, in-home support, and community-based services that help Louisiana's most vulnerable children and families heal and thrive. Founded in 1917 by Father Edward J. Flanagan, Boys Town began as a refuge for children facing abuse, neglect, homelessness, or involvement with the juvenile justice system. Today, Boys Town Louisiana (BTLA) is one of six national affiliate sites within the nonsectarian, nonprofit Boys Town network-proudly carrying forward a legacy of compassionate, comprehensive care for children and families in need.
