Fundraiser Story
The love and appreciation I have for the Broadmoor Improvement Association (BIA) is truly unmatched.
The BIA has played a significant role in shaping me both as a social worker and as a proud New Orleanian. It was the first job I took after moving to New Orleans, and it allowed me to serve in multiple capacities—therapist, case manager, and food pantry coordinator.
Today, I’m honored to continue serving this incredible organization as the Secretary of the Board. The BIA has given so much to me and to our community, and now I invite you to give back.
If you feel moved, please consider donating to the BIA during GiveNOLA Day. Your support means the world. Thank you!

About the Organization
The Broadmoor Improvement Association is a non-profit neighborhood organization that serves those who live, work, and play in our community through a coordinated network of anchor institutions, faith-based partners, and businesses. Founded in 1930, the BIA has grown with New Orleans to preserve the diverse culture and voices that form the core of Broadmoor's identity. We strive to redefine what it means to be a neighborhood association by living the values that bring us together.
