JPA has been producing live theatre in Jefferson Parish for over 40 years. I've directed several of their past hit musicals- (Addams Family, Young Frankenstein, Holiday Inn, School of Rock) and acted in Billy Elliot and Looped. Help them sustain their mission of offering high quality theatre that entertains, educates and enlightens in their beautiful state of the art facility on Airline Drive, the Jefferson Performing Arts Center and their two theatre spaces in Westwego. Their youth programs nurture and train the next generation of theatre artists. Theatre builds community and enrichment and cannot survive without the most important component, your support!

Founded in 1978 by Maestro Dennis G. Assaf, the Jefferson Performing Arts Society is a non-profit professional arts organization whose mission is to promote arts performance, training, and outreach by providing a diverse range of quality programs that entertain, educate and enrich the cultural and economic vitality of Jefferson Parish, Greater New Orleans and the Gulf South.
