Can you believe that the Lafitte Greenway is less than 10 years old? 

In that time its transformed an abandoned rail line into of of the most beloved public spaces in New Orleans, connecting the French Quarter to Treme to Midcity-- and now visited 500,000 times annually. 

Since January 2023 I've had the honor of serving as the Executive Director of the Lafitte Greenway Partnership, the nonprofit steward of the Lafitte Greenway. It's always been my dream to be able to work with neighbors to make New Orleans better. 

There are many great parks and public spaces in New Orleans, but the Greenway is more than a park. Its the ultimate connector bringing New Orleanians together to connect with nature, their destinations, and each other.
