The COOL Cooperative is a local non-profit that has spent the last ten years helping hundreds of students discover a passion for film, tell their story, and prepare to work meaningful and productive jobs in the film industry. We are a pipeline after-school program, meaning that we serve students continually from 6th grade through high school graduation. Qualifying high school students are paid to learn with us as a part time job. From the time our students are about 13 years old, we offer them healthy snacks, education, emotional support, friends, and a safe location. We are honored to support the next generation of storytellers.

The COOL Cooperative provides free film industry workforce development to middle and high school students in the most under resourced areas of New Orleans.
