I first learned about Louvis Services when a friend shared a video of Mr. Ben, who was overjoyed and in awe of his new home after spending years on the streets in New Orleans. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be involved in their mission to help others transition from homelessness to permanent, supportive housing. Seeing people living under the overpass truly breaks my heart, and I have always struggled with how to best help them. I appreciate supporting Louvis because, as an all-volunteer organization, I know that every dollar I contribute goes directly toward building the next home. I am able to see the tangible impact of my donations in the form of actual houses constructed for those in need, which feels like I'm finally part of the solution and not a bystander to the suffering of others.
