This year for GiveNOLA Day, I am asking for your support to invest in the future of Louisiana, our people, and the planet. Under our current administration we know that logic, reason, and the truth are not going to be our best approach. We feel that now is the time to invest in the youth to help give them the tools and resources to make their voices heard and shape their futures. This summer program will empower youth leaders along Cancer Alley to leverage their lived experiences and fresh perspectives to make a difference for our people and our planet. The Louisiana Bucket Brigade uses grassroots action to create an informed, healthy society that hastens the transition from fossil fuels. Our vision is to create a Louisiana that is a healthy, prosperous, pollution free, and just state where people and the environment are valued over profit. The Louisiana Bucket Brigade believes our state is worth saving. We also know Louisiana is a driver for climate change globally. For 25 years, we've helped residents and community leaders amplify their voices and protect their health, their homes, and their way of life.
