I have worked for LOOP for two years, both as a camp counselor and as an Outdoor Adventure Club intern. My experience has allowed me to gain valuable leadership and outdoor skills. It had allowed me to closer to nature, New Orleans, and my community. It had been an amazing program that has been very valuable to me.

LOOP NOLA's mission is to provide positive, life-changing outdoor experiences to children and youth in Greater New Orleans. We were founded to address the lack of opportunity for urban youth to experience the physical and mental health benefits of the outdoors and to develop a personal connection with nature. By experiencing outdoor activities in a safe and supportive environment, young people learn to push past perceived limitations and gain the confidence to reach for their lifelong goals.
