As Operations Coordinator at The First 72+, I work closely with people coming home from incarceration, helping them access essentials like Medicaid, SNAP, Social Security cards, and birth certificates. Many of our clients are released without these critical documents, stable place to stay, or the social support needed to keep moving. At The First 72+, we work to bridge that gap-offering transitional housing, connection to resources, and a supportive community. I've had the privilege of seeing that growth firsthand-like Mr. Terrance (pictured above!), who recently moved into a place of his own after staying in our transitional housing.
