In August 2024, I became Artistic Director of The NOLA Project at the start of its 20th season. It was a moment of reflection—but more importantly, a turning point. Now, Season 21 marks my first full season at the helm, and I’m bringing a bold new vision rooted in equity, innovation, cultural reckoning, and community healing. Our work challenges power structures, amplifies underrepresented voices, and dares to be artistically risky—because we believe theater should do more than entertain. It should transform. This season includes world premieres, supernatural storytelling, experimental work, and school-accessible shows—all crafted with New Orleans in mind.
