Morgan Rae Center for Hope serves as a hub for child victims of abuse and families requiring access to medical evaluations in our CARE Medical Clinic and forensic interviews in our New Orleans Child Advocacy Center (NOCAC). By opening the Morgan Rae Center for Hope, we are expanding the size of our co-located services to inspire hope and healing for thousands in our community. Our specially trained physicians and nurses provide state-of-the-art medical evaluations, hospital consultation, prevention, resident training, and community partner education. The NOCAC provides developmentally appropriate forensic interviews for suspected child victims of abuse, and provides education and case management services to their non-offending caregivers. Both service areas provide kids and their non-offending family members access to case management services which include assessing family needs, referring to trauma-focused counseling, and assisting with long-term care coordination.
