We use genealogy research--connecting the Mississippi River communities to their ancestral ties to the land--as another tool in the fight against the harmful effects of siting heavy industry in historic communities in south Louisiana. I am passionate about what I do and am happy to be able to provide my skills to this work.

The Louisiana Bucket Brigade uses grassroots action to create an informed, healthy society that hastens the transition from fossil fuels. Our vision is to create a Louisiana that is a healthy, prosperous, pollution free, and just state where people and the environment are valued over profit. The Louisiana Bucket Brigade believes our state is worth saving. We also know Louisiana is a driver for climate change globally. For 25 years, we've helped residents and community leaders amplify their voices and protect their health, their homes, and their way of life.
