LABB are not only savvy advocates for communities most affected by unregulated and unfettered industrial polluters and lax regulation and oversight but also allies and mentors to members to those communities giving them the tools and tactics to advocate for themselves, providing people resources for creative resistance and self-representation for their causes and communities. Money from Give NOLA Day specifically supports a new Youth Program. In partnership with Rural Roots Louisiana, this program will create hands-on, experiential learning opportunities grounded in the lived experiences of communities living along Cancer Alley.
