I work at Children’s Bureau of New Orleans (CBNO) because I believe deeply in helping the children who need it most. I’m asking you to join me in supporting the place where I pour my heart and energy every day. CBNO provides specialized mental health care to children and families at school and in times of crisis. I see the impact of this work firsthand, and I can tell you it truly changes lives. Over half of the children we serve are survivors of physical or sexual abuse or lost a close relative as a result of homicide. We bring help to them, placing our therapists in schools so they can heal where they are, with the specialized care they need. All of our services are free of charge. But with federal funding being eliminated, there’s a real risk that children will lose access to our vital services. I’d be so grateful if you chose to support CBNO.
