ricRACK has committed itself to the community and our environment by offering low- to no-cost sewing classes for our youth and keeping textiles out of landfills by offering programs that divert several tons of textiles from landfills per year! It is a wonderful organization led by amazing and dedicated volunteers and staff.

ricRACK is a place to learn how to sew, create, grow, imagine, re-use, sustain, and succeed. Our hub is our Creative Reuse Shop and Community Sewing Studio in the heart of Central City. We partner with schools, museums, and libraries throughout the city to bring sewing lessons and environmental awareness to the community. We champion the ethos of sustainability and skill sharing, encouraging the repurposing and upcycling of materials, reducing waste, and contributing to a healthier environment.
