As an animal lover and advocate, I usually just give to help the SPCA or other groups doing the hard work to save and help as many animals as we humanly can. Many don't associate the SPCA with horses, but the organization rescues, fosters, and helps re-home them. You'd be surprised how many backyard horses are in the city. Today, the SPCA has an unprecedented number, aside from times of disastrous floods. Horses are expensive. Please help me support the ongoing care of these creatures needing care, through no fault of their own. The horse shown is a recent rescue. His owner was unable to care for him any longer and he was not living in safe conditions for the horse or neighbors.
