Meet sweet Roxie. She was hit by a car and left on the neutral ground of the Intersate below Jackson. She raised her lovely head as yet another car passed by three days later and a miracle happened. A Good Samaritan saw her and stopped. She ended up with ARNO at MSAH for 2 surgeries. She needs one more. Sweet and shy, she is only a baby and has been through so much. Roxie needs you. About the Organization
Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) is an organization created and dedicated to the rescue and aid of abandoned and homeless animals started out in the wake of Hurricane Katrina including responding to the immediate needs and medical care of those very old, very young, sick, neglected, abused or deprived of love. ARNO promotes the foster, adoption and reunion of pets with caretakers as well as spaying and neutering all companion animals through our no-kill shelter.
