As Board Chair for the past four years, I've seen firsthand the transformative impact this organization has on the lives of Louisiana's brightest young minds. These young folks, many the first in their families to pursue higher education and facing real financial hurdles, are the future of Southeastern Louisiana. College Beyond provides the crucial one-on-one coaching, workshops covering everything from financial aid to career prep, and emergency support that helps them thrive. We're talking about a 79% persistence rate from the first to second year – way above the state average! My commitment to these students runs deep, and today, on Give NOLA Day, we're aiming to reach $1,000 to directly support the youth of Louisiana through College Beyond.
