Leo arrived as so many of our kitties do- a sick neonatal kitten with a big surprise. His hydrocephalus and encephalopathy needed urgent care from a neurologist in order to get his cerebrospinal fluid production under control. Without this lifesaving care, Leo’s noggin would have ballooned, resulting in impairment and then death. Kitties like Leo so rarely get a chance to live at all so the fact that he received the critical care needed to become the most gregarious orangie around is nothing short of incredible. Today I’m hoping to raise $500. This was the cost of Leo’s first specialist and will help us be able to save the Leo’s of tomorrow.
