This page is dedicated to helping NOVAC reach production goals. Our theme for this cohort is Black Maternal Health. We are funded through the community - any contribution you could make would help with the following: - cohort stipends - production budgets - travel fees for productions - additional production services (Audio & Sound) - mentor stipends - equipment - 10% of director salary - 25% of program manager salary - Sacred Care vendors, workers and wellness provider stipends and the event venue - Special programming (such as the cohort celebration and additional supports for filmmakers)

NOVAC empowers storytellers and communities by providing education, training, and resources in film, TV, and digital media. Our vision is that storytellers in Southeast Louisiana have equitable access to creative and economic opportunities in film and digital media, and the agency, voice, and vision to tell their own stories. We seek to have community stories represented by community storytellers at the highest level of practice.
