I have been a speech therapy assistant at this Center for 15 years and I love it. We strive to give children of all ages a voice. We work with children both in school settings and in the center. I love working with children on the Autism spectrum and helping them to identify and express themselves and their feelings so they can be better understood. Recently, I was visited by a child I worked with years ago at the beginning of his journey. At the time, he was just beginning to answer questions and display his unique personality. He is now about to graduate from high school with a college scholarship. He showed anyone who had doubts about his abilities exactly how amazing he is.
