Since 2018, I have been an ensemble member of The Nola Project. You may have seen me, or not, in such roles as character who doesn't speak at all until the second act (SLEEPY HOLLOW, TALK BACK) or just running around outside yelling very loudly into swarms of termites (SPIDER QUEEN, THE HENCHMAN...tbh, I truly love outdoor theater!). Although, these days, I am off stage more than on, I am so proud to continue to support and be a part of this organization who is steadfastly continuing to produce the finest and most exciting theatre in New Orleans and to expand programming to serve and strengthen the next generation of American Theatre. There's so much tragedy happening in the world right now, it's hard to center joy. The work of The Nola Project and the artists and friends behind it remind me that there is beauty, bravery and laughter alive in our community even as we face and such insane and absurd times.
