Dignity: We recognize that each person has sacred value and worth Stewardship: We commit to using all that is entrusted to us wisely and with accountability. Community Collaboration: We believe that we can be more effective by partnering with other community organizations and sharing ideas, strategies, and resources.

Community Christian Concern, one of the oldest non-profit agencies of our community was founded in 1983 by local ministers that created a centralized assistance agency for the Slidell area. We serve people and families, those most in need - seniors, veterans, grandparents raising grandchildren, single-parent families who are food insecure, persons disabled, homeless individuals, and working families who are struggling to make ends meet.

Services provided are in the form of food , clothing, hygiene items and other emergency basic needs. We also offer Christian counseling and housing for men as a means of shelter due to the tremendous lack of affordable housing in our community.
