From its inception, TAC has seen the floodwall murals not only as a monument but as a platform for education and engagement. Community workshops, youth mural bootcamps, and professional development sessions for aspiring artists are already part of the initiative.

When complete, the Tchoupitoulas Art Corridor will be the largest continuous mural in America, but more than that, it will be an enduring act of remembrance, an unfolding archive of the city’s soul painted on its own walls.
