Sophie's GiveNOLA Fundraiser

For 130+ years, CBNO has been a cornerstone of care for children and families, offering prevention, advocacy, education, and intervention services that strengthen mental health and wellness across the New Orleans community. Today, we focus on delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling to young people impacted by violence, loss, abuse, and neglect, all at no cost and within their community sites. 

The need is urgent – children in New Orleans experience trauma and PTSD at rates 4x higher than their peers around the country.

In my time working at CBNO, I've been so lucky to see firsthand that healing is possible. Around 75% of the children and families who complete our services experience significant reductions in trauma and depressive symptoms.
