Help Me Provide Healthcare to Our Community

I’m fundraising for Luke’s House Clinic this GiveNOLA Day because I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for everyone to have access to healthcare, no matter their circumstances.

Luke’s House provides free, compassionate medical care to uninsured patients in our community and helps them navigate what can be a really complicated healthcare system. Many safety-net resources are difficult for patients to access due to cost, language barriers, long wait times, and complex processes. Luke’s House helps bridge that gap by offering bilingual care that is always free, welcoming, and centered on the patient.

It’s also an incredible teaching clinic, where students and doctors from Tulane, LSU, and Ochsner come together to learn, collaborate, and serve the community. It’s a space where students learn not just clinical skills, but how to care for people with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Through my time at Luke’s House, I’ve seen how much it means for patients to have a place they can trust, where they can receive care without fear or barriers.
