Advancing Literacy & Learning in Louisiana

Over the past almost five years at The Center for Literacy & Learning, I’ve had a front row seat to the life-changing work happening every single day. I’ve seen firsthand the impact we have made in schools which has translated into the tremendous growth Louisiana students have made in literacy.  While that progress is worth celebrating, we know there is still so much more to do.

What makes The Center so special is our commitment to supporting the whole child and the people who surround them. We are truly systems focused. From early childhood support, to empowering families through meaningful engagement, to equipping educators with evidence-based practices, and advocating for strong literacy policy - we provide true wraparound support that creates lasting impact.

While our roots are right here in Louisiana, our work reaches educators and communities across the country. Every dollar raised helps us continue this important work with our vision at the forefront, that everyone is empowered through literacy.
