The barrier to youth sports should never be money. We at The 18th Ward strive to have a fun, welcoming environment for all kids in all 17 wards of the city. Our name comes from our desire to be a home for every kid around the city to come and play sports no matter the demographic or financial reality of a family. We offer low-cost, high quality programming for kids 3-14 across a multitude of sports with a mission of making sports fun and welcoming for all. 

Over the course of our Flag Football season, we focus on athletic development, game knowledge, and most importantly making friends and having fun. We also travel to out of state tournaments in order for our teams to get used to playing higher levels of competition and the amazing memories that are created within their team. Many of our kids make friends with others from all around the city and look forward to seeing them at every practice. Help us provide a safe environment for kids to play and make life-long relationships.
