Dear Friends,

We are very excited to participate in GiveNOLA Day this year! We're asking you to donate to support the Tremé Fall Festival, held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, to keep the culture of Tremé alive.

When Adolph first came to Tremé decades ago, people thought he was taking a risk. But he saw something different—history, culture, and a future worth investing in. Together, we’ve restored more than a dozen properties, always with the belief that preserving these homes helps preserve the soul of the neighborhood. As we often say, each house is like one of our children. But preserving buildings was never the end goal. It has always been about people.

Our connection to this work is personal. That’s why we helped found the Tremé Fall Festival—to celebrate the culture bearers, musicians, and traditions that make this neighborhood what it is. Through the festival, we’ve been able to give back by supporting the St. Augustine Church, museums, second-line groups, and cultural organizations that keep Tremé’s spirit alive.

Today, we’re asking for your help.

For GiveNOLA Day, we are personally matching gifts up to $500 in support of Friends of Tremé Culture, the registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that produces the Tremé Fall Festival and provides microgrants to culture bearers in Tremé. We’re doing this because we believe—just as strongly as we did years ago—that investing in Tremé matters.

This neighborhood has given us so much: a sense of purpose, a community that looks out for one another, and a place that continues to inspire us every day. As Adolph often says, “There’s a lot of good here.”

If you’ve ever believed in preserving culture, supporting community, or investing in something meaningful, we invite you to join us.

Your gift will be matched. But more importantly, it will help ensure that Tremé’s history, culture, and community continue to thrive for generations to come.

With gratitude,
Adolph & Naydja Bynum
