The Family Center of Hope is a faith-based institution dedicated to education, healing, and social transformation. Rooted in a social justice philosophy, we believe that every individual—especially those impacted by trauma and systemic inequities—has the capacity to grow, heal, and fulfill their purpose.

We serve children, youth, and families across New Orleans by providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive programs that restore stability, strengthen families, and reduce involvement in the juvenile justice system.

We deliver proven, best-practice interventions that meet families where they are and guide them toward lasting change:

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family & Youth Programs

• Passages – A Rite of Passage experience for school-age youth, building identity, discipline, and purpose
• Parenting Matters – Equipping parents with tools rooted in child development and family stability
• Helping Mothers Heal – A safe, supportive space for mothers grieving the loss of a child to violence

⚖️ Youth Intervention & Diversion

• Evening Reporting Center (ERC) – A 45–90 day alternative-to-detention program helping justice-involved youth break cycles of crime and build positive futures
• NOYAC (New Orleans Youth Assessment Center) – A centralized hub providing early intervention, assessment, and diversion services to keep youth out of the juvenile justice system
