Operation Pathways provides and coordinates place-based programs and services for residents in affordable housing communities to increase quality of life. OUR VISION Vibrant housing communities where residents are engaged, empowered, and supported to live to their fullest potential.

Operation Pathways programs impact over 450 families in two low-income housing communities in New Orleans (Algiers and New Orleans East). Our programs focus on increasing the quality of life in the areas of financial stability, healthier living, academic achievement, and aging in place for seniors. Operation Pathways community coaches create an environment to make change possible for community members to reach their goals by being goal driven, participant centered, and strength based.

We believe every participant is creative, capable, and resourceful and our programs give community members the power to gain long-term stability..

"I started attending the after-school program at the community center when I was 7years old. It was always so much fun and the art projects were my favorite. When I was a teen I was hired for the summer internship and learned so much about what it is like to have a job, got my first pay check and bank account, and also the community coaches encouraged me to start researching colleges and helped me find scholarships. I now attending Delgado Community College and still stay in contact with the same staff who have known me from being a young kid to now a young man. If it was not for them, I do not think I would be in college and my life would look a lot different. I appreciate all they have done for me and my auntie over the years.
