Many people today are feeling overwhelmed, and the need for mental health support is growing. Equine Reflections Therapeutic Center in Folsom, Louisiana, is meeting that need through equine-assisted therapy and learning, partnering rescued horses with credentialed professionals to help individuals, families, and couples.

We are home to 14 rescued horses many from abuse, trauma, neglect, or once unwanted and discarded. Their journeys allow them to deeply connect with the people we serve. Many require ongoing, life-saving medications, so your support not only helps people heal, it helps our horses continue their own recovery.

No riding or horse experience is required. Through meaningful interaction, clients build self-awareness, resilience, and hope.

Why horses? As sensitive herd animals, they naturally reflect our emotions in the moment offering honest, nonjudgmental feedback that fosters connection and healing.
